The reader is immediately hooked from page 1 in this book! The book is very captivating and full of action to keep the reader's attention throughout the story line. I have no doubt my students will LOVE it!!

This is a CLASSIC that your students are sure to love as mine have for years. It uses such simple language, yet from page one, readers of all levels will be hooked. The plane is going down - will they survive? How do you NOT turn the page? As it progresses, stranded on an island, an assassin, snakes... no wonder my students love it so much!

John Sifert quickly throws his readers into an action-packed plot that intensifies with each chapter. Students who like adventure books and movies will devour this story and Spanish teachers who enjoy doing reader’s theater will have a blast making this story come to life in their classrooms. As an independent Spanish learner, I appreciate books that I can get lost in and just read... as if I am reading in my native language. I read La Isla Más Peligrosa in one go and can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

With so many potential bad guys, this book has the reader engaged from page 1. A plane crash, a deserted island, snakes...need I say more??? Brothers must work together to escape death. This is a well-loved book in my FVR library and I can't wait to read the sequel!!!

The action starts on page one and doesn’t stop. John doesn’t waste time developing characters and setting, he jumps right into the action and lets readers piece together the details as they go. This makes for a more satisfying reward for the reader. Additionally, the large cast of characters, each with their own secrets and motivations, gives readers several storylines to follow. All the while, John weaves in cultural content and touches of humanity without either getting in the way of the story. I’ll be recommending this to readers who love action and adventure.
