Nayka Barrios Jaén
Nayka Barrios Jaén, a Panamanian-American author, also known as Señora Miller, is a native of Panama. Nayka graduated from the Instituto Nacional de Panamá, has a Business Degree from the Universidad del Istmo, Panamá; a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics from the Universidad de Jaén, Andalucía, España, and also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from Harvard University.
Nayka teaches and writes based on Stephen Krashen's theory of Comprehensible Input for language acquisition, which states that "...giving learners this kind of input helps them acquire language naturally, rather than learn it consciously."
