Nicole Gómez, PhD
Nicole Gómez is a Spanish Instructor at Eastern Florida State College in Cocoa, Florida. She is a native of Illinois and earned her PhD at the University of Tennessee. She conducted doctoral research on U.S. Latino issues, including immigration, bilingualism, discrimination, and identity. Her attention is currently focused on proficiency-based teaching with comprehensible input in an effort to make language learning equitable and enjoyable for all learners.
