I read a post about using this book for Black History month and Women in History month. I do it at the beginning of class and use the suggestion to read the sentences SLOW. As students recognize who the person is, they GENTLY put their hand on their forehead. After the last sentence I ask them, "Qui est-ce?" On the count of three, they shout out the name. I love this for sooooo many reasons. My students begged me for another one, and so it continued. I am purchasing book 2 to continue the fun! It's a great way to review personal identification through this input.
J'adore this idea and plan to use it but it would be even better in digital form to project and reveal the clues as we go. Want to make it 10 stars? Include native-speaker audio from around the world to go along with it. Amazing resource, but now it's going to take me a lot of work to get it to a state where I can use it the way I want. Thanks for the jumpstart!
