I loved these comprehensible BIOs and learned more about French history and culture. This series is ideal for French teachers to incorporate into their lessons and a welcome addition to FVR (Free Voluntary Reading) libraries. If you're learning French on your own then read everything by this author. This series is an all-too-rare example of interesting /comprehensible nonfiction. Thanks to Carla for writing! You have such a gift!

Wonderful for French learners

Ms. Tarini has done the French-learner community a big favor with this series! Especially good in a classroom setting because it gives the French prof so many opportunities to fill in the blanks about French culture and history.
